Bruno says

We took the decision to put the Capercaillie up for sale because of my wife’s health condition, which no longer allows her to join us on the summer trips we take each year.

We bought this 1977 boat in 2011 for the price of 40.000€. Since then, we have invested around 30.000€ in her. We have replaced the sails, the autopilot, the cooling system, the propeller, the prop shaft and the starter motor, the spray hood, the lazy bags, the batteries, the battery charger, the radio and the GPS.

The boat has been taken out of the water every year and has always been well maintained.  All maintenance and repair bills are available. The boat is currently (mid-November 2021) being repaired at the Aber Ildut yard (North Brittany) after the steering cables broke.
